SolomiaSolomia, 22, was born in Ukraine and left the country when the war began. Trained in System Analysis and active as a DJ at local events, she continues rebuilding her life abroad.
Photographed in Paris, her portrait reflects resilience shaped by displacement.

Solomia was born in the Ukraine. She is 22 Years old.
She left the Ukraine when the war broke out. I met her in Paris.
Solomia is a young woman who walks her path between a world of fashion, beauty and travelling, but at the same time did not choose this path because she wanted to walk it at all costs. 
She has a degree in System Analysis and worked in this sector. Also she was D-Jing at local parties and exhibitions in the Ukraine.
When I photographed her, I was impressed by her inner strength, yet  I felt her infinite sadness, which touched me deeply.

Solomia : 
"Honestly, I can call myself lucky to have the possibility of living abroad, and want to say thank you to each and every person who helped me on this journey. It`s hard to cope with the idea of being a refugee even when you know that you have your own place back home. But in this case, you leave everything behind, material things lose their meaning you only worry about human lives cause only they matter. I check the news every day and yes sometimes it`s overwhelming, but I am never tired of supporting my country as long as it takes. We stay strong and we are going to make everything possible , so our and next generations could live in PEACE."
